Americas Cup

Barcelona welcomes the Americas Cup for the first time in 172 years.

The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron received and accepted a challenge for the 37th America's Cup from the Royal Yacht Squadron Ltd (BRITANNIA). The RYSR is associated with the Royal Yacht Squadron, the first yacht club to organise this event in 1851, 172 years ago.

New Zealand kept "the oldest trophy in sport" for the third consecutive time.
